A child of the base categories, midfielder Kayke David, 19 years old, left Flamengo and was announced as the new reinforcement of Torpedo Kutaisi, from Georgia. It will be the first experience of the player, who came to play professionally for Rubro-negro, in European football.

The midfielder arrived at Flamengo in 2020, after standing out defending the colors of Nova Iguaçu. Kayke David was part of the Rubro-negro under-20 team, in which he played a total of 43 games, three goals and five assists.

Last year, Kayke David played four games as a professional for Flamengo, two of them for the Brazilian Championship.

Through social networks, the 19-year-old midfielder said goodbye to Rubro-negro earlier this year, before being announced by the European club.

“I thank God for everything I have lived here in Flamengo. I thank everyone on the technical committee, all my friends I made here, who I will definitely take with me for the rest of my life… Thank you Flamengo, for all the moments I experienced. Today I leave with my head held high that I gave all of myself in every game and training session.
I love you, Flamengo”, wrote the midfielder.
