Celtic x Lazio is a match to be seen exclusively on HBO Max. Those who have access to Warner’s streaming platform will see a lot of the Champions League, including all the group stage matches of the tournament this season.
In their debut in the group stage of the Champions League, Celtic was defeated by Feyenoord 2-0. Looking for a chance to assert themselves in the fight to qualify for the round of 16, the Scottish team leads the local league and is coming off a victory away from home against Motherwell.
Brendan Rodgers will be without four players to face Lazio, the suspended Lagerbieke and the injured Welsh, Abada and Carter-Vickers. Apart from this, there won’t be many problems for the Bhoys coach to have the desired lineup to try for their first victory.
Lazio’s debut in the group stage was also a draw, finishing 1-1 with Atlético de Madrid. The Champions League could turn the tide for the team from the Italian capital at the moment with the team having a not-so-good campaign in Calcio, being in 15th place.
At least Maurizio Sarri shouldn’t have any problems choosing the team that will take the field this Wednesday. Without injured athletes, the coach can only make changes to rotate the squad at the beginning of the season.
