This Tuesday, the tenants’ union refused to meet with the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, at the Moncloa because “the real estate employers’ association is also invited.”
Pedro Sánchez had called both the tenants union and the real estate employers to reach an agreement on housing. However, the union will not attend due to the presence of the employers.
“We will not take any photos with the real estate employers because we cannot expect any solution from those responsible for the problem. Tobacco companies are not invited to design the National Strategy against cancer, and rentiers are not invited to discuss the policy of housing,” the union said.
