Watch the moment black cab driver hits back at Jeremy Vine’s latest salvo against motorists with a hand signal that is most definitely NOT in the Highway Code

TV present Jeremy Vine caught a petty moment with another driver in Central London on camera.

The moment shows the presenter cycling turning at a junction before a black taxi pulls out in front of him at which Vine honks his horn at the driver.

The driver then pulls out his hands and signs his hand at the host and at first it is not clear what the sign was.

The Radio 2 host regularly records himself cycling through the capital’s congested streets on a helmet-mounted camera and shares the clips with his social media followers, often exposing drivers’ bad behaviour.

After Vine honked at the taxi, the driver pulled their hand out and signalled a rather rude hand gesture towards the host.

After this, the cyclist continued on his way, going past the driver, saying ‘Classic…’

It comes after Jeremy Vine was caught up in a road rage row during his cycle home after a white van man who thought he was a woman gave way to him, angering another motorist, dramatic video shows.

In his latest clip, the presenter praises a van driver for giving him time to emerge from a junction, but highlights how another motorist in a white car is less patient.

‘I’m a bit slow off the lights here and I do appreciate that the van driver behind me gives me time and space, but the guy behind him is not impressed,’ Vine said in a clip of the row.

The driver begins beeping his horn and edging closer to the van, before managing to overtake while blaring his horn at Vine.

The van driver chases the ‘bad driver’ down, and the pair begin exchanging expletives in what Vine called an almost ‘medieval’ showdown.

In a separate incident, the BBC star complained he was nearly hit by the double decker turning into his lane at Holland Park roundabout – what has been called one of the capital’s most dangerous junctions.

He shared video captured by his 360-degree camera while cycling in west London, approaching the much-criticised roundabout.

The panicked presenter recorded his terror – yelling ‘What the f***’ – as a bus overtaking on his right began to edge into his lane – though they did not collide.

Last year, MailOnline revealed all the spots across the capital where the famous cycling champion has called out drivers for causing mayhem.

As of September last year he had has shared 27 videos of driving that has left the presenter fuming – with many of the clips showing near-misses.

In one, filmed in September last year, Vine was almost run over by an incompetent van driver in Tavistock Square, Central London.

The video uploaded to this account on X, the dodgy driver left the presenter’s bike in a crumpled heap on the road.

The video showed Vine cycling down a road before entering a junction where a white van can be seen driving towards him on the other side of the road.

The vehicle then turns right across the path of Vine forcing him to stop and repeatedly honk his bike horn.
