Several wide receivers could land with new teams this offseason, including Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton.
“As long as we are talking Denver, I’m told the Broncos are quietly shopping Courtland Sutton,” NBC Sports analyst Matthew Berry wrote. “Not actively pushing him, but definitely trying to see if there’s a trade market for him and if they get a decent offer, would move him.”
Sutton was decent last season with 64 receptions for 829 yards and two touchdowns, but nothing compared to the production that earned him a big contract two years ago.
The Broncos signed Sutton to a four-year, $60.8 million contract extension in 2021 after his breakout season in which he had 72 receptions for 1,112 yards and six touchdowns before earning a Pro Bowl appearance.
The 27-year-old then played in just one game the following season after suffering a Torn ACL.
We’ll see if Sutton gets traded.
