Two people have been shot by NSW police during an incident in western Sydney.
The shooting took place on Friday afternoon on Wentworthville’s Fullegar Road. Two adults were taken to Westmead Hospital suffering from gunshot wounds, one ambulance with a police escort and the second without. Their condition is unknown.
NSW Ambulance said six ambulances and a helicopter attended the scene at 12.40pm.
One resident on the suburban street told the Herald they heard gunshots followed by “lots of commotion”.
“The police were here very quickly,” they said.
