The scooter driver who was injured “very serious” this Thursday after having an accident with a V5 line bus in Barcelona has died this Friday. The man was hit by the bus at number 188 Gran Vía de les Corts Catalanes.
In a statement from the City Council, they explained that the accident occurred around 8:30 a.m., and the victim had been transferred by the Sistema d’Emergències Mèdiques (SEM) to the Hospital Clínic. In said hospital, he finally died.
Crews from the Central Traffic Report Unit (Ucat) have traveled to the scene of the incident to carry out the corresponding report and clarify the causes of the accident. This is victim number 10 in accidents with electric scooters in Barcelona so far in 2024.
