McDonald recommends thinking about something specific: “This is a visualization technique that I use to let go of something immediately and regain peace in my mind,” he says in the video.

“What I will do is close my eyes and imagine myself and the situation that is stressing me connected by a rope, and then I will imagine a pair of scissors cutting the rope between me and whatever is stressing me out,” he continues.

“Then I’ll watch him float like a balloon. Now I have mentally detached myself from it and it can no longer affect me. “That allows me to bring peace to my mind, so I can return to my mantra of trust and surrender that is very ingrained in my brain right now,” he adds.

Emily McDonald has more than 417,000 followers and his videos have accumulated more than five million likes on TikTok.
