The 70s interiors trend we can’t get enough of

Suede isn’t the only 1970s trend making a huge comeback this season. In the world of interiors, we’ve also seen tortoiseshell make a huge resurgence, bringing a touch of drama to any room. 

The blends of rich amber, honey and dark chocolate tones not only bring warmth to your home but – like leopard print clothing – pair well with just about anything, making it a very easy trend to incorporate. It works perfectly with gold accents for a glam, opulent vibe, but can also tone down a space when sat alongside natural textures like wood and linen. 

Use as a focal point with larger pieces like mirrors or trays, or introduce in small doses through smaller accent pieces. Whether it’s sleek vases, statement cutlery or picture frames, just one or two of these pieces will effortlessly elevate your interiors.
