The protest movement against there pension reform tends to harden. Monday, March 6, 2023, mobilization watch against the project carried by the government ofElisabeth Borneworkers, unions and students blocked partially the surroundings of the port of Gennevilliers (Hauts-de-Seine).
Filter dam
Taken at the initiative of the CGT trade union at Géodis, the action received the support of the unions of Monoprix, SUD PTT and Véolia. A filter dam was set up on the roundabout which gives direct access to the port. Only cars are allowed to circulate. “The idea is to block the trucks and let the cars pass, so as not to alienate the population”, explains Laurent, CGT trade unionist at the microphone of Permanent revolution.
The port of Gennevilliers is the first port of Île-de-France and the first French river port. More than 250 companies are located on site.
