Slimane is the target of a complaint for aggravated sexual harassment opened by the Saint-Étienne public prosecutor’s office.
JUSTICE – Slimane is now the subject of a preliminary investigation. About ten days after the complaint filed by a technician who was working on his Cupid Tour, the interpreter of My love is now the target of investigations for sexual harassment.
As reported by our colleagues from Parisian and of BFMTVthe Saint-Étienne public prosecutor’s office has decided to open a preliminary investigation against the artist “concerning acts of sexual harassment aggravated by the use of a digital or electronic medium”and this after having examined all the elements made available to it since the complaint was filed.
The alleged facts occurred in December 2023. Slimane was then on tour. On the evening of December 17, when the artist had just given a concert at the Zénith in Saint-Étienne, he allegedly engaged in behavior and gestures comparable to sexual harassment towards a technician who worked on the Cupidon Tour.
Pornographic videos
According to the complaint filed by the latter before the Saint-Étienne public prosecutor’s office and consulted by our colleagues at ParisianSlimane and his team had organized a party before putting the tour on hiatus for the Christmas holidays. The alleged victim says she was then harassed by the former winner of The Voice.
After consuming alcohol, the latter would have “stuck against a wall” and would have tried to “to impose a hug on him”. Subsequently, he allegedly dragged the technician into his dressing room after insistently offering him sex. The latter would then have left the scene and joined the rest of the team on the bus in haste.
The singer then, according to the complaint filed, sent numerous messages and videos “of a sexual and pornographic nature” to the alleged victim during the night. The latter left the tour the day after the alleged facts, and after having informed the production of the reasons for his departure. According to his lawyer Anne-Sophie Charrieras, he would have wanted to file a complaint so that Slimane “ answer for his actions and that this does not happen again,” despite fear for his career.
