As if she were a movie star, Sara Carbonero has shared the spotlight with great Spanish actresses in a video clip that talks about women who feel alone. The Toledo presenter appears alongside prominent names in acting in our country such as Bárbara Lennie, Macarena GarcÃa, Irene Escolar and Olivia Molina, in what for her has been a very special and comforting job.
The Solitude is the title of the new song by the Canarian singer Valeria Castro, friend of the journalist from La Mancha, where the latter makes an appearance for which she feels really proud. This is what she herself has confessed in her public profile after her collaboration with the artist, the second they have done after their first project together and similar to this in 2021.
In the video clip, both Sara, the vocalist and the other star guests appear dressed alike, a brown knit look with short sleeves and high black boots. In addition, the former face of Informativos Telecinco has shown photos of the ‘making of’ when they filmed this video clip full of emotion, melancholy and sadness.
Produced by Carles Campi Campon, who has worked with top-level figures such as Jorge Drexler or the group Vetusta Morla, the song talks about the wounds caused by that feeling that gives its name to the song. In addition to those mentioned, actresses Elia SanMartÃn, Zoe Bonafonte, LucÃa Romero, Mariana Salazar, Itsaso Arana and Elena MartÃnez have also participated in the piece.
“Tremendously grateful for being part of the latest video clip by my friend and magician Valeria Castro, directed by the enormous Joana Colomar, and for having shared with so many extraordinary women that loneliness that we all feel at some point,” Carbonero said about it.
Lyrics of ‘Solitude’
Like a river without a channel
like a flower without spring
How do you want me not to get tired?
longing without a flag
I am clear that I have nothing to lose here
The truth of some eyes
who look without protection
who knows it’s broken
this strange heart
I am clear that I have nothing to lose like this
how much loneliness is going to love me so as not to let go
And it becomes a habit
do not forget a past
and something inside asks me
what’s wrong with me
I am clear that there are wounds that can reopen
and I think I’m accepting
that becomes a chimera
wanting something to exist
that lasts a lifetime
I am clear that there are wounds that are going to make me suffer
how much loneliness is going to love me ‘to’ not let go
how much loneliness is going to love me so as not to let go
