And in property news, if you hadn’t noticed, rent prices are going through the roof. So much so that traditionally affordable suburbs such as Armadale have seen up to a 120 per cent rise in weekly rents.

However, pundits say the rental market has reached an affordability ceiling, so property owners can no longer expect to see tenants offering significantly over asking prices for properties.
