Brown went undrafted out of Oregon after transferring to Eugene from Boston College. He played in two games for the Ravens last season where he made one start in a loss to Cincinnati in Week 18.
In those two appearances, Brown completed 22-of-49 passes for 302 yards and two interceptions with a 48.2 QB rating. Baltimore decided to hold onto the 25-year-old on the practice squad after waiving him Aug. 29. But he now finds himself looking for an opportunity elsewhere.
He did get the chance to audition in the Ravens final preseason game where he finished 12-of-21 for 171 yards and 41 yards on the ground in a 26-20 loss to the Buccaneers.
Baltimore’s current depth chart is led by Lamar Jackson, Tyler Huntley and veteran journeyman Josh Johnson.
