Palm trees can define sale
On loan to Red Bull Bragantino until the end of the year, Matheus Fernandes may no longer wear the Palmeiras shirt. Satisfied with the midfielder’s performance, the club from Bragança Paulista notified Verdão that it will exercise the purchase option valued at € 1.2 million (R$ 6.6 million at current quotations). The information was initially given by Jorge Nicola.
Matheus Fernandes has a contract with Palmeiras until 2025, but he did not convince Abel Ferreira and was transferred to Massa Bruta. Recently, the Portuguese tore praise after the victory over Braga, in Paulistão.
“Even today I was asking: ‘Who was Bragantino’s number 5?’. He who was here at Palmeiras, and who is still our player and who played an absolutely extraordinary game”, he praised.
“So, our team has to understand that everyone is going to give their lives to beat us”, he added.
What about Allan?
Palmeiras did not give up on hiring Allan, from Atlético-MG. According to the GOAL website, Verdão is preparing a new attack to convince the miners. Galo, in turn, only agrees to talk with a proposal from € 15 million (R$ 82.82 million at the current quotation).
The first investment was around €9 million (R$49.7 million), but Atlético said no. At first, Galo does not want to negotiate the midfielder with any Brazilian team.
