The game between Osasuna and Celta, for LaLiga, ended in a goalless draw, this Monday (6), at the Reyno de Navarra stadium. The result removed the Reds from the classification zone of European competitions.

With 34 points, Osasuna remains in seventh place in the tournament, three behind sixth-placed Villarreal. Yellow Submrino occupies the last spot in the Conference League ranking zone. On the other hand, Celta de Vigo remained close to the relegation zone, with 28 points, in twelfth place.

In the duel, the Reds presented a more structured football. In this way, Osasuna managed to threaten Celta’s defense at the beginning of the first half. While Budimir and Oroz wasted good opportunities, the celestials found obstacles to threaten the defense of the home team.

This scenario brought greater instability to the celestial team during the game. De la Torre even threatened Osasuna’s defense, but wasted his opportunity.

The two teams maintained the same style of play in the final 45 minutes. Chimy articulated good moves, but succumbed to the opposing defense. On the other side, Celta launched counterattacks. Aspas started a move with Cervi, which ended in Vega. However, the celestial player knocked out.

Osasuna responded with Chimy, who opened the scoring after a good move by Abde. Despite the celebration, the bid ended up annulled due to an offside. With little creativity on the field, the two teams left the pitch with a 0-0 tie.
