•  First Acoustics presents Joe Crookston on Sunday, Nov. 3, at 3 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Catskills, 320 Sawkill  Road, town of Ulster.  As a singer-songwriter, Crookston is a master storyteller. • The Kingston Interfaith Council will host a “Before our National Election” candlelight prayer vigil on Monday, Nov. 4, at 7 p.m. at the St. James United Methodist Church at 35 Pearl St. Kingston. The Interfaith Council said the event will be “for our community, houses of worship, nation and world.”

• A shoe drive fundraiser, supporting the Kingston High School class of 2027, is being held through Wednesday, Dec. 11. Collected shoes also will help support micro-enterprises in developing nations. • An exhibition titled “Farms, Feathers & Fields,” runs through Sunday, Nov. 10, at Tivoli Artists Gallery 60 Broadway, Tivoli.
