After 1-0 defeat of the Brazilian team against Argentina, which took place on Tuesday night (21), at Maracanã, journalist Nilson Cesar, from Jovem Pan radio, once again asked for Fernando Diniz to leave the technical command of the Canarian team. In the narrator’s view, the Fluminense coach does not have enough experience for such a mission.

“The logic was Argentina’s victory. What is not logical is the poor football of the Brazilian team. And Diniz is more than clear that he is not capable of being a coach for the Brazilian national team. Not that we have a Boeing. This selection is a ‘co-op’”, began Nilson Cesar, then amending the opinion that Ancelotti or another coach who takes over the team will have a huge journey in preparing for the World Cup.

“Whoever takes over the team will have a hell of a job. What you can’t do is think about the possibility of him continuing in command. It’s not enough for Diniz. He is a guy who is more than clear, evident, who is not yet prepared”, added the narrator.

Fernando Diniz was chosen by the CBF to act as an interim member of the Brazilian team, while Carlo Ancelotti fulfills his contractual relationship with Real Madrid. However, despite the entity highlighting that it has reached an agreement with the coach, the Italian, in turn, has already rejected having reached an agreement with the entity.

After the end of the last FIFA Date of 2023, Brazil goes on recess and will only return to the pitch in the second half of March 2024, when they face England and Spain, in friendly matches. Before the Copa América dispute, the team from Canary Islands will fulfill more FIFA Data commitments. The Qualifiers, in turn, only resume their schedule in September.
