The first Arriva night train departed from Groningen to Schiphol at 01:48 sharp on the night from Friday to Saturday. An estimated 65 passengers had boarded shortly before, together with artists and bands from Eurosonic Noorderslag who provided the necessary entertainment along the way. The train rolled into Schiphol station at around 3:50 am.
