Any attempt to categorize and rank NFL fan bases is going to be met with plenty of feedback, both positive and negative.

So naturally, a recent study by Canada Sports Betting ranking the “most loyal” fans in the league has sparked widespread reaction on social media.

The rankings were determined by the “volume behind more than 500 related keywords to NFL teams over the last three years, covering topics such as merchandise, individual players, team stadiums, and game tickets.”

When all the numbers were crunched, Cincinnati Bengals fans came out on top, with the Philadelphia Eagles right behind them. Down at the bottom were supporters of the Cleveland Browns and New Orleans Saints.

“Everyone and anyone who knows football, knows damn well #Browns fans are some of the best and most loyal fans across all sports. This ‘study’ couldn’t be anymore off @Browns,” said one Cleveland fan.

“I pay a staff of six based off of Saints fan loyalty. Pretty sure this study is trash,” asserted NewOrleans.Football’s Nick Underhill.

“Idgaf what anyone says. The 2 most loyal fan bases are Buffalo and Minnesota,” a Vikings fan chimed in.

“Based on loyalty and not having the Steelers fan base in the top 5 is wild. I may be biased but I don’t get it,” a Pittsburgh fan said.

“The Bengals would had blacked out games for years even when competent because tickets wouldn’t get bought,” another person added.

These rankings lists mean nothing but somehow still always get the people talking.
