NFL divisional round ATS picks: NorthStar Bets’ predictions for the divisional playoff round

The chopping block that is the NFL playoffs took away six teams last weekend, and it’ll claim four more in the divisional round.

Saturday’s schedule kicks off with a matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Jacksonville Jaguars before the Philadelphia Eagles host the New York Giants in primetime. On Sunday, the underdog Cincinnati Bengals line up with the Buffalo Bills, while the Dallas Cowboys face the San Francisco 49ers.

Need help figuring out which teams to back against the spread? Our NFL divisional round ATS picks have you covered.

NFL divisional round ATS picks

NorthStar Bets’ Nick Ashbourne, Avery Perri, Steven Psihogios and Chris Toman made picks against the spread for all four NFL divisional round games. Their regular season ATS records are below.

NFL odds as of 11:00 a.m. ET on Friday, January 20.

Jaguars @ Chiefs: Saturday, January 21: 4:30 p.m.

NorthStar Bets line: Kansas City -9
Ashbourne says: Kansas City may be the Super Bowl favourites, but it had the fourth-worst ATS record in the NFL during the regular season. Jacksonville has won its last six games by a 177-108 margin, and we don’t see the red-hot Jags going down by multiple scores.
Pick: Jaguars +9

Giants @ Eagles: Saturday, January 21: 8:15 p.m.

NorthStar Bets line: Philadelphia -7.5
Perri says: The Giants are a league-best 14-4 ATS this season and I’m not going to fade them now, even against a stout Eagles team. That’s mainly because New York has Saquon Barkley. Philadelphia’s defence ranked 17th in rushing yards per game (121.6) and 21st in defensive rush DVOA (-1.9%), per Football Outsiders. Expect Brian Daboll to take a page out of Ron Rivera’s book by pounding the rock and bleeding the clock.
Pick: Giants +7.5

ATS picks for Sunday’s games

Bengals @ Bills: Sunday, January 22: 3:00 p.m.

NorthStar Bets line: Buffalo -5.5
Psihogios says: Cincinnati’s offensive line is turning into a real problem. The Bengals will be without Alex Cappa (ankle), La’el Collins (knee) and Jonah Williams (knee), a development that could have Joe Burrow under pressure all afternoon. The Bills are scoring points at will (30-plus points in four consecutive games) and keeping pace could be very difficult for Cincinnati.
Pick: Bills -5.5

Cowboys @ 49ers: Sunday, January 22: 6:30 p.m.

NorthStar Bets line: San Francisco -4
Toman says: These might be the two best defences remaining, but their offences shouldn’t be slept on. San Francisco has won 11 in a row, scored 37-plus points in four straight and just hung 41 on Seattle. The Cowboys steamrolled the Bucs in a game Dak Prescott threw for four TDs and rushed for one. An erratic Prescott might be hard to trust in a big game — he had an NFL-high 15 interceptions — but so is rookie QB Brock Purdy. Prescott was sensational vs. Tampa and I’ll gladly take Dallas at this number.
Pick: Cowboys +4
