“Ultimately Cypriot and yet effortlessly extroverted, the entire album combines a hopeful personal outlook that melodically blends humor with irony.”

Her new song “Who Would Have Thought?” is released by the bi-communal musical group Island Seeds, ahead of the presentation of the full-length album “Beginnings” on November 29 at the Nicosia International Festival.

According to a statement from the House of Cooperation, which supports the band through the “United by Sound” program, the song, their second, deals with the feeling of alienation after moving away from a loved one, while the album “Beginnings” is a sincere musical journey that began with the release of the first song “Stray Cat”.

“Ultimately Cypriot and at the same time effortlessly extroverted, the entire album combines a hopeful personal outlook that melodically combines humor with irony,” it states.

It is added that the band Island Seeds consists of eight artists and musicians from the two largest communities and functions as a means of musical self-discovery and experimentation, drawing from each member’s musical journey and career. Therefore, Island Seeds are unique in Cyprus, as far as their composition, sound and ethos are concerned, it is noted.
