In search of another triumph in motorsport, Nelsinho Piquet presented the design of the Toyota Corolla that he will drive in this Stock Car season. The Crown Racing car is sponsored by Universal Soluções Automotivas, which will be present for the third consecutive year in the category.
With a greater predominance of black, car number 33 has the brand’s logo on its sides. The Corolla still has small red details and the Amortex symbol on its hood. It is worth mentioning that the product is part of the Universal Soluções Automotivas list, which operates in the steering, shock absorbers and suspension segment.
“I am very happy to start another season in Stock Car, I believe that this year we will be even stronger, last year we won two races and I believe that this year we can win more races and dispute the title”, declared Piquet Júnior.
Excited by the current moment of Universal Soluções Automotivas, the brand’s head of operations, Felipe Ferrari, commented on the partnership with the son of the three-time Formula 1 champion, Nelson Piquet.
“The car has a very bold look and carries our brand very prominently. Nelsinho is a driver with more than proven qualities and I know he will fight to get the best results carrying the name of Universal Soluções Automotivas”, he celebrated.
Nelsinho has a long experience in world motorsport. In addition to being a Formula 1 driver, the Brazilian also has stints in NASCAR and Formula E, where he won the title in the 2014-2015 season.
The Brazilian arrives at Crown Racing to replace the five-time Stock Car champion, Cacá Bueno. The Toyota Corolla will be on the tracks on April 2nd, to compete in the first Stock Car Grand Prix of the year. The race is scheduled to take place at the Autódromo Internacional Ayrton Senna, in the city of Goiânia.
