More than 1,000 people demonstrate in Frankfurt against right-wing extremism |

In Frankfurt on Saturday afternoon, more than 1,000 people demonstrated against right-wing extremism. The police said the number of participants was “in the low four-digit range”, and the organizers counted 5,000 people at their peak. The demonstrators marched to the Römer after a rally on Opernplatz.

An alliance of several organizations, including the German Federation of Trade Unions (DGB), Fridays for Future and Amnesty International, called for the demonstration under the motto “Together against the right”.

Organizers speak of a “strong signal”
