Mid-Hudson Valley arrests report: Nov. 20, 2024

The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system. Any person(s) charged with an offense or offenses are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Kingston

Drugs: Bambi L. VanLeuven, 63, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 12:15 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, and charged with three misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. VanLeuven was released with tickets for Kingston City Court.

Drugs: Armand J. Ector, 45, and Scott Joseph Nesbitt, 45, both of Kingston, were arrested by state police at Ulster at about 3:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18. Ector was charged with two misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Nesbitt was charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance (cocaine 500 milligrams), and the misdemeanors of criminal possession of a controlled substance and false personation. Ector was released with tickets for Kingston City Court. Nesbitt was sent to Ulster County Jail without bail.

Lloyd

DWI: James Garrett Kelley, 47, of Milton, was arrested by state police at Highland at 10:24 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, and charged with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated. Kelley was released with a ticket for Lloyd Town Court.

Saugerties

Drugs: David D. King, 28, of Queens, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 2:03 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, and charged with the felonies of criminal possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), criminal possession of a controlled substance (meth with intent to sell), criminal possession of a controlled substance (narcotic drug with intent to sell) and criminal possession of a controlled substance (narcotic). King was also charged with the misdemeanors of criminal use of drug paraphernalia (packaging), criminal use of drug paraphernalia (scales), and criminal possession of cannabis (more than 16 ounces). King was sent to Ulster County Jail in lieu of $3,000 bail.
