Even though Madrid has denied that the two captured Spaniards in Venezuela – whom the Maduro Government calls terrorists – belong to some body intelligence of the European country, Maduro has reiterated that “there are full proof of the plans of the CIA and the CNI Spanish against the peace and security” of the Caribbean nation.

For this reason, the Venezuelan president has ordered the Minister of Defense, Vladimir Padrino López, “do a reengineering” in its area of action to achieve an “adaptation of the army to the new means of war” and implement a system of “anti-drone defense on all vital targets“, among which he mentioned airports and ports.
