The Hungarian government will increase the amount allocated to the Health Insurance Fund for curative and preventive care by HUF 63.4 billion, according to the latest From the Hungarian Gazette.

The Prime Minister entrusted the Minister of Finance Mihály Varga and the Minister of the Interior Sándor Pintér with the implementation of the task, with immediate effect.

In the government resolution signed by Viktor Orbán, the Minister of the Interior is called upon, with the involvement of the Minister of Finance, to “prepare a proposal for the government on the measures necessary to ensure the fulfillment of the tasks of inpatient care institutions for the remainder of the year”.

The Minister of the Interior and Finance is also responsible for this task. They were given a deadline of May 15, 2024 to submit the proposal.
