Index – Economy – MVM has made an announcement, it affects the whole country

According to the company’s announcement, the projects now selected by the European Commission will contribute to the installation of electric charging stations and hydrogen charging points, as well as the electrification of airports, helping to fulfill the objectives of the Green Agreement.

The purpose of the MVM ULTRA II 2023 project included in the roadmap is to electrify certain sections of the Hungarian TEN-T road network in accordance with the provisions of the AFIR regulation.

For the implementation of the project, the European Network Financing Facility (CEF) provides 3 million euros in tender support, the source of which is the Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Facility (AFIF), which is part of the CEF.

The company also stated that the infrastructure developments implemented in the project will significantly contribute to the spread of domestic environmentally friendly transport, thus helping to achieve domestic and European Union climate and environmental protection goals.

Already in 2022, Mobiliti has signed a support contract with the CINEA organization of the European Union for the implementation of ten 600-kilowatt (4×150-kilowatt) AFIF charging stations.

Four charging stations will be placed at twenty locations

With the help of the funds previously awarded by CEF, Mobiliti has already started the domestic fast charging network at the Auchan stores in Budakalász, Czömör, Dunakesz, Fót, Kecskemét, Maglód, Miskolc, Székesfehérvár, Székesfehérvár, Szolnok and Törökbálint within the framework of this project until the end of 2024. ongoing development. Thanks to the new support, 4 charging posts with a capacity of 150 kilowatts each will be added to 20 additional locations on the Mobiliti network.

Finally, in its announcement, the company also mentioned that MVM Mobiliti plays an important role in the e-mobility sector. In addition to the above developments, the joint venture of Mobiliti and Volánbusz, Mobiliti Volánbusz Kft., also plays a pioneering role in community e-transportation.

Volánbusz expects to purchase twenty new electric buses next year as a continuation of the Green bus program launched to achieve carbon neutrality, in a total of six smaller cities.

The fuel supply for the buses will be ensured by filling equipment installed by the joint company of MVM Mobiliti Kft. and Volánbusz, Mobiliti Volánbusz Kft., at the technical sites or stations of the settlements – they summarized in their announcement.
