Nacho Mangut said goodbye to Pasapalabra last Thursday the 31st after participating in 59 programs. After the experience, the contestant shared with his followers an emotional statement about this “opportunity that I did not expect and that has left me with a bittersweet taste.” Not everything has been positive in this last step on the program and Nacho has opened up about the amount of negative comments he received after his appearances in the contest and has responded bluntly.
“Brutal harassment on social networks, dozens of daily messages full of insults, disrespect, threats and bad wishes. In the 12 years that I have been competing I have never experienced anything like it, it has been, without a doubt, the worst experience of my life and I don’t wish it on anyone. For winning, losing, drawing, for speaking or keeping quiet, for my physical appearance or for my way of being, everything translated into many insults on a daily basis, you can see it in any publication of Pasapalabra“, he commented, claiming that, finally, he felt calm being able to talk about the terrible situation he was experiencing.
Nacho also wanted to thank all the public who have supported him throughout these months: “Something that has made me very happy, once again, has been the affection of the people, people who have trusted me and who They have encouraged me a lot, without whom I would not have faced the challenge of starting to study again. Nor has he forgotten his partner Alberto, congratulating him for being “the best candidate for the blue chair that has passed through the program in a long time”, nor manu“a friend that I will take with me forever”, defining him as a contestant with great mental strength (among many other positive qualities). The contestant in the orange chair was emotional when saying goodbye to Nacho, thanking him “for all the times we have shared and for having made me grow so much as a contestant.”
Despite the bad moments, Nacho wanted to highlight his impeccable track record in the competition. “I leave with the best historical record of any contestant in their first 50 programs on the air 3, winning twice as many programs as I lose and hitting more than one bolt on average per program, record data of which I am proud and happy, and with a financial prize that more than covers what I needed. Finally, and thanking again for all the encouragement he has received, Nacho has assured that he is not closing the doors to future competitions and that he will continue to take advantage of the opportunities that arise.
It was not his first time at Pasapalabra
Nacho is considered by many of Pasapalabra’s followers to be a historical contestant of the program. The first time he went to the casting to be one of the candidates to get the pot It was in 2012, and since then he has not stopped achieving it. Before this edition, he competed in 79 programs between 2012, 2013, 2014, 2017 and in 2020, when he took a break to be able to study the opposition to get a position as a secondary school teacher.
