How To Watch USC Football in 2024

How To Watch USC Football in 2024

It’s almost time for kick-off for the USC Trojans’ 2024 football season. Head coach Lincoln Riley is hoping to make waves with the team’s first year in the Big Ten Conference this year. The Trojans won the first six games of last year before losing five of their final six for a 7-5 record for the year. This year, Jake Jensen will be stepping up as quarterback to help set the Trojans up for success in the coming season.

The football season officially begins on Sunday, September 1, when USC plays the LSU Tigers at Allegiant Stadium for the Vegas Kickoff Classic. Their first home game is a week later against Utah State. If you’re a Trojans fan, this page will give you all of the info you need to watch the team in the 2024 season.

A lot of the USC football schedule is still waiting to be announced. We know what teams they are playing and when, but specific times and channel air dates are still being confirmed. From what is available on the schedule, there are a few key dates to look out for. September 1 is the beginning of the season for the Trojans, but the most exciting time for USC fans will be at the end of November. They’ll play the UCLA Bruins on Nov. 23 and then a week later face Notre Dame, and we know the Trojans will be looking for revenge after losing to the Fighting Irish last year.

Where to watch USC football

There are multiple channels you will need to be able to watch the Trojans in the 2024 season. The announced broadcasts span over ABC, CBS, Fox, and the Big Ten Network, so you want to make sure that you pick a service that will provide you with your local broadcast networks and Big Ten. That combination will allow you to watch the Trojans and their competition throughout the season.

After a recent carrier dispute between Comcast and the Big Ten Network, USC games could see themselves blacked out for West Coast customers. Luckily, you can still catch Big Ten Network games with one of the below live TV streaming services that carry the network.

The Choice package also gives you ESPN, ESPNU, NFL Network, MLB TV and several other sports channels so you’re always in the know.

The Choice plan also comes with unlimited DVR storage and the ability to stream on up to ten devices at home. You can sign up for a free trial before committing, and DIRECTV will also give you three months of premium channels like Max and SHOWTIME for first-time customers.

The Pro Plan also includes FS1, CBS Sports Network, and multiple entertainment options to keep the entire family entertained while getting all the sports coverage you want.

Fubo also includes unlimited DVR storage and the ability to stream on up to 10 devices on your home network. If you add the Family Share add-on, you can get three additional devices added in. The entertainment channels include Hallmark, Freeform, FX, Paramount Network, and so many more.

  • Suggested Plan: Hulu + Live TV Bundle
  • Price: $76.99
  • Free Trial: Yes
  • Channels Included: ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, Big Ten Network, ESPN, ESPNU, NFL Network, and more

If you’re trying to make a lot of different people happy with your streaming cable package, then you should consider the Hulu + Live TV Bundle, which includes the Hulu, Disney Plus, and ESPN Plus streaming services on top of your live TV channels. Hulu gives you access to next-day streaming for so many primetime broadcast favorites, and Disney Plus is a must-have for Star Wars, Marvel, and classic Disney fans. The Live TV channels include your local broadcast networks and the Big Ten Network, so you can watch USC games, but you’ll also get ESPN, ESPNU, NFL Network, and more. That means you’ll have access to a ton of sports outside of college football. If you live and breathe Sports Center and ESPN, then that ESPN Plus streaming membership is a huge bonus.

Hulu + Live TV Bundle also includes unlimited DVR storage and the Live Guide, which showcases what’s coming up for the next two weeks across your live channels. You can watch on up to two screens at a time or get the unlimited screens add-on for an additional cost.

  • Suggested Plan: Sling Orange & Blue with Sports Extra add-on
  • Price: $55, plus an additional $11 for the Sports Extra add-on
  • Free Trial: No
  • Channels Included: ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN 3, and local channels in select regions

Sling TV is a very affordable option, but there are some drawbacks. You’ll want to check if Sling TV carries ABC and Fox in your area because coverage does vary depending on geographical region. The good news is that every game that is broadcast on ABC will be simulcast on ESPN3, which is included in the Sling Orange or Sling Orange & Blue plans. However, if you want the Big Ten Network (and you should as USC joins the conference this year), you’ll need to shell out an extra fee for the Sports Extra add-on.

All of the Sling TV packages come with up to 50 hours of cloud DVR storage, and the Sling Orange & Blue plan allows you to stream on up to four devices at a time—three on the Sling Blue channels and an additional screen for Sling Orange channels. There is no free trial for Sling, but they do currently offer a deal for new subscribers.
