OAT PANCAKES RECIPE, STEP BY STEP
INGREDIENTS (makes about 6-8 pancakes)
- 90 g oats (can be soft flakes or oat flour, depending on the desired texture)
- 125 ml of milk (or vegetable drink).
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder (chemical baking powder)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- Oil or butter to grease the pan
ELABORATION:
-Place all the ingredients in a blender or food processor: oats, milk, banana, egg, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and vanilla.
-Mix until you obtain a smooth dough. If it is too thick, you can add a little more milk until you reach the desired consistency.
-Let the dough rest for 5 minutes so that the oats absorb some of the liquid and thicken.
–Heat a nonstick frying pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with oil or butter.
-Pour a little of the batter into the pan to form a pancake (approximately 1/4 cup of batter per pan). pancake).
