1. 500th goal and hat trick for Steven Stamkos
Steven Stamkos had quite the game last night. He first scored the first goal of the game.
It was his 500th career goal.
THERE. IT. IS.
Steven Stamkos (@RealStamkos91) becomes just the third active skater to reach the 500-goal milestone! #NHLStats: https://t.co/7btaQY5FI1 pic.twitter.com/PuN3wRNt7R

The Tampa Bay captain didn’t stop there. Sure enough, he scored two more goals to complete his hat trick.
Among active players, only Alexander Ovechkin and Sidney Crosby have over 500 goals. As for Stamkos, he achieved the feat in 965 games.
Tampa Bay finally won easily by a score of 5-2 in Vancouver.
2. Tim Stutzle makes fun of Sidney Crosby
The Senators hosted the Penguins yesterday and Tim Stutzle put on a show from the start of the game. The young German striker rounded Sidney Crosby like he was a cone to score his 20th goal of the season.
A little how da yo do from Jimmy Stu. @timstuetzle18 with some moves at the blue line to give the @Senators the lead!

He achieved the feat in 40 games and became the fourth player in franchise history to score 20 goals in two consecutive seasons before the age of 22.
As for Crosby, he too had a strong game. The Penguins captain had three assists to reach the 50-point plateau this season.
Sidney Crosby had three assists to surpass the 50-point mark in 2022-23. Crosby has recorded 16 seasons with at least 50 points, trailing only Alex Ovechkin (17) for the most among all active skaters.#NHLStats: https://t.co/ya9VS2pWj2 pic.twitter.com/PS7CvoBF7d

The hotly contested game was finally settled in overtime. It was the other captain, Brady Tkachuk that one, who nailed the debate.

Tkachuk finished his game with four points.
3. Jason Robertson and Mikko Rantanen reach 30 goals
Heading into yesterday’s games, Jason Robertson and Mikko Rantanen were just a net away from 30 goals this season.
This morning, it’s a thing of the past since the two attackers scored a goal.
Firstly, Rantanen became the sixth player this season to score 30 goals.
Mikko Rantanen (43 GP) became the fastest @Avalanche player to hit 30 goals in a season, besting the previous Colorado benchmark of 44 games set by Joe Sakic in 1995-96 (the franchise’s first season in Denver).#NHLStats: https://t.co/ya9VS2pWj2 https://t.co/wwQHiSWYf9

Then, Robertson became the seventh a few moments later.
30 goals for Mr. Jason Robertson ‼️
Robertson became the seventh player this season to reach the 30-goal mark. The 2022-23 campaign marks the most 30-goal scorers at this stage of a season (713 GP) since 1996-97 (12). #NHLStats: https://t.co/ya9VS2pWj2 pic.twitter.com/OyOvHPQl08
