Harris Paints Picture of Trump ‘Stewing’ Over Enemies List at Georgia Rally

Vice President Kamala Harris painted a sharp picture of what a second Trump presidency could look like before a packed crowd in Georgia on Thursday.

If he’s reelected, Trump will be “stewing over his enemy list,” while she will be checking off her “to-do list.” As she spoke, the galvanized crowd chanted back the Harris campaign’s rallying cry of “not going back.”

Harris also repeated her warnings about another Trump term that she raised during a CNN town hall on Wednesday.

While there were “people who could control” Trump in his first term, there are potentially “no guardrails” in a second Trump presidency, Harris said.

Multiple former Trump administration officials have spoken out about Trump’s fitness for office, and The Atlantic and The New York Times both reported this week that retired Marine Gen. John Kelly believes Trump is a fascist.

Kelly, who was Trump’s longest-serving chief of staff, also said Trump praised Adolf Hitler in his presence, according to the reports.

Trump responded on the reporting on Truth Social, writing that “Comrade Kamala Harris sees that she is losing, and losing badly, especially after stealing the Race from Crooked Joe Biden, so now she is increasingly raising her rhetoric, going so far as to call me Adolf Hitler, and anything else that comes to her warped mind.”

“She is a Threat to Democracy, and not fit to be President of the United States — And her Polling so indicates!” he added.

Polling around the election has consistently shown Trump and Harris in a dead heat, with Trump slightly edging Harris out in some states, including in Georgia.

The Harris campaign’s push in Georgia is especially critical as the state is seen as a key battleground that helped Biden win the last election. And with its 16 electoral votes, Georgia could be decisive in determining the winner of this election as well.

When Harris took the stage Thursday, former President Barack Obama triumphantly raised her arm in the air.

Obama told the crowd Harris’ career has been focused on “fighting on behalf of people who need a voice” and pointed to several of Harris’ proposals as examples of how she would do that as president.

“She will not be focused on her problems, her ego, her money. She’s going to be focused on you,” Obama said.

He also warned that “we do not need four years of a wannabe king, a wannabe dictator running around trying to punish his enemies. That’s not what you need in your life. America is ready to turn the page.”

In her own speech, Harris tried to capture some of the energy Obama was able to harness during his historic 2008 campaign.

“There is an overwhelming call for a fresh start, for a new generation of leadership that is optimistic and excited about what we can do together,” she said. “There is a yearning for a president of the United States who will see you, who gets you, and who will fight for you.”
