Huge resources deployed. The Departmental Directorate of Public Security appealed to the raid police on the night of Monday 6 to Tuesday 7 March 2023.
The elite unit intervened around 4 a.m. at the level of the alley of the Pompidou park in a building, Grenoble.
An armed man
It is midnight when the police receive a call from a man who reports the presence of an armed individual at his home on the alley in Parc Pompidou. He refuses to leave the apartment.
While waiting for the arrival of the Raid, the police of Grenoble remain in contact with the author of the call. Taking advantage of the armed individual’s drowsiness, he hastened to leave the premises and was supported by peacekeepers.
Members of the anti-crime brigade (Bac) were responsible for securing the perimeter while awaiting the arrival of the elite unit.
The Raid neutralizes the individual
AT 4 a.m., the Raid police arrive in Grenoble. Without much difficulty, they managed to subdue the armed man.
It was actually an airsoft type weapon.
