Georgia wins the festival held in Madrid while Spain remains sixth

Georgia has been proclaimed the winner of the 22nd edition of Junior Eurovision, held in Madrid, thanks to its representative Andria Putkaradze with her song To my mom (to my mother). Spain, for its part, has obtained sixth place after the votes carried out by the 17 participating countries.

The Caja Mágica has been completely transformed to host the event, so much so that the emblematic venue of the capital did not seem like such after the infrastructure set up for this great afternoon of music and entertainment. Ruth Lorenzo, Marc Clotet and Melani García were in charge of presenting the gala, broadcast live on TVE at 6:00 p.m.

Chloe DelaRosa, who picked up Sandra Valero’s baton as our standard bearer, has shone on stage with her fun song Like Lolawhich was also in the pool of favorites to win. The young artist from Extremadura, only 9 years old, along with her four dancers, dazzled the audience and received a loud ovation of applause.
