Open Formula is a group that has accompanied different generations with its songs with danceable rhythms and catchy lyrics. After several years of comings and goings, Geno Machado, one of the original members of the group, has decided to say goodbye to this professional adventure. “After 23 years in the world of music, of which 9 have been with Formula Abierta, I announce that I am retiring from the group. “After much thought about it, I have made the firm decision to leave the group permanently.”
The goal of the 42-year-old singer is to seek new challenges. “There has come a point in my life when I need to evolve, grow and above all continue learning in other professional fields, of course, linked to music.” Of course, the Canarian artist will always have a special memory of everything she has experienced with Formula Abierta. “An enriching and precious experience that has given me great satisfaction. However, it was not until 2021, when Alex died prematurely in a car accidentwhen the group completely disbanded.
