Few fiancées imagine, from the first moment, their wedding dress. It is more normal to be clear about some details: that it must have a low back, have long sleeves… Ambar tells us that she was very clear that she wanted to go evening and was looking for a dress that, by cutting it a little and dyeing it, could be worn as a guest. She claims that she had a kind of internal struggle because, although one part of herself asked her to be a princess, another encouraged her to add some drama to her bridal look. Finally, with the help of the designer Ramon Herreriasthey found the perfect piece.

Two wedding dresses and lots of fashion
The designer from Tarragona imagined for Ambar a dress with the corseted bodywhich left her back exposed, and an A-line skirt topped by a not-too-long fan train. Since it was a religious ceremony, they decided to cover the shoulders with a kind of short cape with one maxi lace and two falls. A very revealing element, since only fashion-loving brides and trend-followers would dare to wear it – it is worth clarifying at this point that she is dedicated to the world of design.
The bride explains to us that this dress was convertible. “They were taking off pieces as the event progressed. At the cocktail party I took off my laces so I could enjoy and dance better, and for dinner, since it was outside, I ended up taking off my cape to put on a beautiful feather shawl from Lady Pipa, a brand that I work with.”

Even so, Ambar decided to have a completely different design, the work of Calderon Studiofor the party. It was a fringed dress, very daring and sensual, which she enjoyed until dawn.

We don’t usually refer to the bride and groom’s looks, but Eric’s deserves a few lines. He is fascinated by the world of fashion—he is also dedicated to design—and that is why, when it came time to choose his suit, he was inspired by the design that Jacquemus made for him. Bad Bunny for the 2023 MET Gala; For the bow, he looked at the designs that Jonathan Anderson proposed for Loewe in the fall-winter 2025 season. And yes, he also wore a second look, from Balmain. “In principle, the second suit was going to be the first and only one, but I wanted something more striking and I searched among the best tailors in Barcelona so that they could make my idea of the first suit and in Señor they made it a reality,” he says. And Eric opted for a jacket that left a good part of his back exposed.

From jewelry to the bouquet
When brides choose two looks for their wedding, it is usually very common for them to also change their accessories. Amber chose family jewelry for her first dress and blown glass earrings, made by artist Justine Menard, for her second. And yes, he also put on other shoes. The first, made of tulle with a little shine and white satin, were from the Louboutin brand, while the second, sandals kitten heels with a shiny bow, they were from Lolacruz.

The waterfall bouquetsmedium or large sized floral compositions, have become a trend and many fiancées have chosen them for their big day. Ambar tells us that hers, the work of L’Intrepide Studio, which was in charge of all the floral decoration for the wedding, was composed of “orchids, lilies and amaranth. Xavi and Ignasi were inspired by the shape of the back of my dress and the towers of the holy family”.

For a perfect bridal look, it is not only important to pay attention to your dress and accessories, but also to makeup and hair. The naturalness It prevails, almost always, when we talk about coloring the face. The aim is for luminous, radiant skin, and the focus is on the eyes. Ambar was no exception. The fiancée explains to us that when it came time to choose the hairstyle, despite being veiled, she was clear that she wanted to show off her hair. “I don’t feel very represented with updos. We recombed the front part type clean look to clear the face and we made waves to the water backwards. Lu Romero, with whom I am lucky to have been able to work on many campaigns, took care of making me perfect.”

A wedding at the Sagrada Familia
Ambar and Eric met while studying at university. Their friends told them that sooner or later they would end up together and, although they were not so clear about it, it ended up happening. After nine and a half years of dating, he decided to propose to her. “Ambar always talked about the idea of getting married, but since I know that she was never going to ask me, I had to take the step at the wedding of one of her best friends. When the bride was going to throw the bouquet, she She turned and handed it to Ambar. I was waiting for her behind, kneeling with the ring in my hand. Obviously, it had all been planned for a long time,” she tells us.

The couple explains to us that, as they are both designers, they themselves They took care of all the wedding preparations. They only had help for coordination at the church and the restaurant. The entire celebration was outside: the cocktail in a tent, while a music group played; and dinner under a wonderful tunnel of lights.

“We wanted to make a single imperial table, but to make it a little different we assembled it from curved modules so that the entire table made waves. For the floral art, Xavi and Ignasi made both the flowers and the decoration gradient. , along the table, from cold tones (blue, green) to warm tones (yellow, orange, red and pink) from candles, flowers and seasonal fruits,” he adds.

When we ask them what was the most special thing about that day, Ambar begins: “Being able to celebrate love after so many years together next to all our loved ones, the way we had always wanted.” And Eric adds: “And doing everything with a large margin of time has gone very well for us, since we have not suffered stress and we have been able to fulfill all our wishes for the big day, especially the fireworks moment after dessert and having a tattoo artist during the party.

Finally, we ask you to give us some advice for those couples who, soon, will say ‘I do’. Ambar: “Enjoy the process, for me being engaged has been such a beautiful moment in my life… We have so much enjoyed preparing everything. I would also advise taking your time, it seems that when you get engaged you have to get married within a year, and I think that “That makes everything rush and you can’t look at what’s happening.”

Eric: “Don’t get overwhelmed because in the end everything turns out well, and don’t argue with the couple over the choice of menu or other nonsense, since it’s a wedding and it’s about spending the rest of your life with that person you love.” you love so much.”
