The television career of Jose Coronado began in 1989, when he shared scenes with Imanol Arias in Central Brigade. After the two seasons in which he played Joaquín de la Torre in Accuseda Jose Coronado, now 50 years old and with a less jovial appearance, made stellar appearances in the Spanish remake of cheers and in Aida, while in 2014 he returned stronger than ever, again with Telecinco: he got into the shoes of Fran Peyón in the series The Prince along with Álex González and Hiba Abouk.

The fiction set in Ceuta was a resounding success, breaking the audience ratings on the Mediaset network. The Princewhich can be see in Spain through Netflix, Prime Video, Movistar Plus+ and SkyShowtime, was the great culmination of the union between Jose Coronado and Telecinco, which would continue with two other very relevant productions.

Jose Coronado, now 61 years old, returned in style to Telecinco in 2018 with Live without permission, a series set in Galicia in which he played Nemo Bandeira, another of his most mythical characters. In fiction he reunited with Álex González, but not before participating in three episodes of the Movistar Plus+ production Giants.

After its end in 2020, he made a cameo in Poison and starred alongside Mario Casas in the miniseries The innocent for Netflix, before embarking on the adventure that has been playing Tirso Abantos in Intervías. After two years on air, the series set in the Madrid neighborhood comes to an end, although that will not mean we will stop seeing Jose Coronado on screen.

Jose Coronado’s next projects on Netflix

The two next series in which Jose Coronado can be seen will premiere directly on Netflix. The actor will reprise his role as Eduardo in the second season of The snow girltitled Snow Girl 2: The Game of the Soul, in which he will work again with Milena Smit. He will also reunite with Belén Cuesta more than two decades after the end of Periodistas en Legacy, the new project of creator of Elite Carlos Montero.
