Four people die in an Israeli drone strike against a vehicle in southern Lebanon

At least four people have died this Thursday in an attack carried out by an Israeli Army drone against a vehicle when he was traveling through the town of Bafliyé, in southern Lebanon, as reported by the Lebanese Civil Defense.

“Four martyrs and a vehicle destroyed as a result of an Israeli bombardment on the main road to Bafliyé”the organization said on its account on the social network X, where it added that “the bodies have been recovered.”

Security sources cited by the Lebanese newspaper ‘L’Orient-Le Jour’ have indicated that the vehicle had escaped a first bombardment, although it was hit in a second attack. The incident is the first in Bafliyé since the start of clashes between the Israeli Army and the Shiite militia party Hezbollah in October 2023.
