Italian rider Filippo Ganna won the individual time trial on the first day of Tirreno-Adriatico. It was a flat time trial over only 11.5 kilometers, with start and finish in Lido di Camaiore. The 26-year-old Ganna completed the time trial, held in wet conditions, in 12.28.
