He CD Eldense has reported “the theft of jewelry, money and other valuable objects” in the visiting locker room of the Abanca-Riazor Stadium, during the dispute this Saturday of their match against the RC Deportivo de La Coruñaevents that the Galician team has denied occurred in their facilities.
“The club has filed the pertinent complaint and notified Deportivo. The authorities are already investigating the case and our entity will ask the local club to assume the damages“, indicated Eldense in his social network account X.
Hours later, Deportivo responded forcefully denying that any theft had occurred in Riazor, neither this Saturday nor in the stadium’s 80-year history. “Given the serious accusations made by CD Eldense after the match played this Saturday at the ABANCA-RIAZOR stadium, RC Deportivo categorically denies that such events took place in its facilities. “There is no basis to support these accusations, which the club considers unfounded and completely far from reality,” he noted.
The A Coruña team gave its version of the events. “RC Deportivo was the first to report the alleged situation to the police authorities, and the security protocols applied do not confirm the veracity of the facts reported by CD Eldense,” he stated in his statement.
“The club expresses its deep indignation at these accusations. In the 80-year history of the Stadium, an incident of this nature had never occurred. “RC Deportivo is collaborating with the competent authorities and will ensure that the investigation reaches its final consequences, reserving any legal action against CD Eldense that may take place,” he added.
The match ended 1-1, during matchday 10 of LaLiga Hypermotion, after a goal scored by Mohamed Bouldini in the 26th minute neutralized Joel Jorquera’s initial goal (8′) for the Elda team.
