A puppy’s sudden show of confidence at daycare while playing with his new friends has delighted viewers online.
The puppy, an English cocker spaniel named Bruno, was captured chasing his new canine friends around a room at his “puppy school.” The video, posted under @bruno_englishcocker by his owner, has led to a flurry of positive comments from TikTok users after going viral on the platform.
“For the first few classes, he was more timid and unsure of the larger dogs,” Bruno’s owner, Taylor Day, told Newsweek. “But, on this particular day, he was so happy to play and run around with them for the first time.
“It made me so emotional watching him be so excited to play for the first time ever!”
Day, who is based in Nashville, Tennessee, had picked up the 12-week-old dog three weeks ago, and has since been working hard on training her new puppy and developing his confidence. This involves taking him along to coffee shops and parks that are safe for puppies of his age, so that he can learn more about the world around him.

Viewers were able to see Bruno playing with three other puppies, all of which were bigger or older than him, and of different breeds. While he at times struggled to keep up due to his comparatively smaller stature and less developed frame, the puppy was shown to be happy and excited chasing around with his new friendship group. His owner says that his growth in confidence has been a delight to watch.
