During her surprise concert, Charli XCX played songs from her album “Brat” released at the start of the summer period.
MUSIC – You had to be quick. Just a few minutes after his partner H&M announced a mini-concert, Charli XCX occurred in the middle of Times Square on Monday, November 18.
The singer set the stage on fire with songs from her album Brat released on June 7. In the heart of New York, she notably performed the intro 360 as well as the singles Von Dutch And Apple, before moving on to the remixes of Guess and of 365both present on its reissue Brat and it’s completely different but also brat.
H&M, partner of the event, announced the performance on its social networks just 30 minutes before she took the stage. “Charli XCX about to make history in Times Square wearing the H&M Holiday collection”, then highlighted the brand on Instagram.
His concert in Times Square comes two days after his performance at Saturday Night Live. For his third participation in the NBC show, the interpreter of Sympathy Is a Knife was both guest and host. She performed a sketch in which she imitated Adèle and then Troye Sivan, her tour companion this summer in the United States.
Charli XCX marked the summer, placed under the sign of “Brat summer” an expression coming from the name of her album. She is also nominated for seven nominations for the next Grammy Awards, which will take place in Los Angeles on February 2, 2025.
The singer was also announced at the We Love Green festival in Paris on June 7, as well as at the Primavera Sound from Barcelona alongside other new pop stars Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan.
