C.J. Stroud has taken the NFL by storm this season, leading the Houston Texans to a complete turnaround and making them contenders in the AFC South for the first time in several seasons.

Stroud has been busy, but the former Ohio State Buckeye took a moment to send a shot at his school’s most famous rival ahead of their game on Saturday.

Ryan Clark asked Stroud if he felt Ohio State would be able to defeat Michigan, and the quarterback gave an interesting answer.

“Hopefully they don’t steal signals this time,” said the young quarterback with a smile.

Stroud’s dislike for Michigan could potentially be compounded by the fact that he went 0-2 against the maize and blue as a college starter.

Stroud was an extremely successful college quarterback who came very close to competing for a national title, but he was unable to take down Ohio State’s biggest rival while in control of the offense.

With the sign-stealing scandal now calling the results of those games into question, Stroud may feel vindicated with a Buckeye win on a more level playing field.

The Buckeyes will look to avoid dropping three straight games to Michigan for the first time in nearly 30 years when they visit Ann Arbor on Saturday.

With a Big Ten title game berth and possibly a playoff spot on the line, each team should have plenty of motivation for the biggest game of the 2023 college football season.
