Britain’s youngest lottery winner who blew £1.8m jackpot on parties, clothes and plastic surgery has never been happier after having her fifth child and finally finding love with new man

Britain’s youngest lottery winner who scooped £1.8million then blew her fortune on parties, clothes and plastic surgery has told how she’s never been happier after having her fifth child and finally finding love with a new man.

Callie Rogers was plunged into bankruptcy a decade after scooping the jackpot in 2003 aged just 16.

She was left penniless after splurging £18,000 on boob jobs, £300,000 on clothes and £500,000 on ‘gifts’ to friends and family.

But the 37-year-old told how life is now ‘going well’ after finding love with engineer boyfriend Lee Matthews and welcoming her fifth child.

Living in a humble £600-a-month rented semi in Flimby, Cumbria, Callie was seen smiling as she lifted three-month-old Navie-Nicola from her modest Seat car.

The support worker told MailOnline how she preferred to be out of the spotlight shone on her after landing her seven-figure prize.

She said: ‘I don’t know why people would want to read about my life.

‘You obviously get the trolls commenting and they don’t care about the impact they have on people’s lives.’

She added: ‘Everything is going well, thank you.’

Callie posted a snap of adorable Navie-Nicola, born in July, this week captioned: ‘Counting my blessings everyday’.

Shots posted on Facebook include the tot in August, captioned: ‘The Best Five Weeks Of Life Loving You Our Little Bean’, and another captioned ‘Mammys precious girl’.

Pals believe her relationship with Mr Matthews and her newest arrival represents a fresh chapter for Callie, who struggled with depression and tried to take her life aged 21 in the wake of her winnings.

Following her prize, which came as she worked as a checkout girl on £3.60 an hour, she splashed thousands on wild parties, three boob jobs, and around £300,000 on designer clothes.

Callie lent thousands to friends and family and later told of her belief that some had used her for her cash.

In 2021, she was given a driving ban after crashing her 4×4 while high on cocaine.

It was revealed in court that she was claiming Universal Credit despite her lottery win.

A friend in the small seafront village, north of Workington, said: ‘It’s been a rollercoaster for Callie but she’s on the up.

‘She’s got a lovely family, a nice boyfriend and she seems genuinely happy. That’s her lottery win.

‘She’s lived around Workington for years. It’s a close community and people know what she’s been through.

‘There have definitely been some dark days but they seem like they’re well in the past.’

Callie admitted that she was not ‘equipped’ for winning the huge sum at such a tender age.

In a previous interview, she said: ‘You’re only 16, with all that responsibility. At that age, you can get the best advice ever but you’re not in a position to listen.

‘I was too young. Overnight I went from carefree child to adult.

‘Not knowing who liked me for me, and having all the stress of all the money, I just wanted to go back to having a normal life. I still struggle with trust issues.’

Callie had previously claimed to have spent £250,000 on cocaine but later denied this.

In 2018, she revealed how she thought she was going to die after being assaulted by two women on a night out.

She was knocked unconscious, had her teeth smashed, ribs broken and suffered permanent damage to her sight.

Her other four children include son Blake, seven, who has cerebral palsy and cannot walk, talk or swallow unaided.

Callie said last year: “It’s my one big regret is that the money isn’t here for Blake.

“He loves sensory stimulation. If I had that money, I’d give him the biggest sensory room you could buy.”

The National Lottery has since increased the minimum age for players to 18.
