Botafogo has three absences against Goiás; see the casualties

Botafogo

Having been defeated in the last three commitments of the Brasileirão, Botafogo enters the field this Monday (02), at 8 pm (Brasília time), to measure up against Goiás, in the outcome of the 25th round. Faced with the stumble of former vice-leader Palmeiras, who focuses his attention on the Libertadores, General Severiano’s black and white team can take another important step in the race for the title.

After spending the entire month of September without winning, Botafogo appears with 51 points at the top of the Brasileirão. Victorious in the direct clash against Palmeiras’ reserves, Red Bull Bragantino reached 45 points, putting pressure on Glorioso.

For the duel, Botafogo will not be able to count on Marçal, who is suspended after being sent off against Corinthians in the last round. With this, Hugo will be the immediate replacement. Throughout the week of training, coach Bruno Lage carried out some tests, modifying the starting team, and should only define the starting 11 in the lecture.

In addition to Marçal, the Rio team will not have two casualties that have been frequent, due to injury: Rafael and Patrick de Paula are out.

Botafogo’s likely lineup appears with: Lucas Perri; Di Plácido, Adryelson, Cuesta, Hugo; Marlon Freitas, Gabriel Pires (Tchê Tchê), Eduardo; Matías Segovia (Diego Costa), Tiquinho Soares, Victor Sá.
