According to journalist Venê Casagrande, the proposal of 13 million euros (R$ 71.5 million) was approved in a meeting, something that is seen as a great advance behind the scenes.
Now, the figures will be taken to Santos, who changed his stance. Initially, Peixe prioritized the permanence of Ângelo, in view of the possibility of a sale to European football. However, as the financial crisis is hitting the coffers, the board is already considering releasing the attacker immediately.
“At the Football Committee meeting it was decided: they will formalize the proposal of 13 million euros for 80% of the athlete. Santos is experiencing an absurd financial crisis and has already agreed to sell the player.”said the journalist on his YouTube channel.
Ángelo currently earns a salary of R$80,000 a month at Santos. That way, if he signs with Flamengo, he will sign a four-and-a-half-year contract. In addition to the high earnings, the young man will be in evidence and can generate profit for the Rubro-Negro, in view of the resale potential.
