Andrés Velencoso and Natalia Sánchez tell Pablo Motos what their first crush was with someone they knew

Andrés Velencoso and Natalia Sánchez were the first guests of the week at El Hormiguero to present their new series, Regreso a las Sabinas.

The fiction premieres on Disney+ on October 11 and is the first daily original fiction produced by a streaming platform in Europe.

“It is a milestone, because it is the first time that a daily series has been made on a platform in Spain, there are 70 chapters. It has been a leap into the void and the result is incredible,” acknowledged the actress.

His partner added: “It is a classic melodrama, of love, heartbreak, tension, betrayal… It is about two sisters, Paloma and Gracia, who return to their town to take care of their father and have to face their past.”

“Among other stories, Paloma reunites with her first love, which is me, Miguel, and that raises many vital doubts. It is a series that is about returning to the roots, about the passage of time, nostalgia, second chances …”, noted the former model.

Then, Pablo Motos asked them if they remembered their first love: “I have never told it, but I was in love with a girl from my high school from the age of 14 to 16 and it broke my heart,” Velencoso recalled.

“We were going on a snow excursion by coach and I saw her, a few rows ahead, kissing another older boy, I remember crying a lot. Deep down I think she chose the right option, because I found out that they are still married and has children,” he noted.

Sánchez, for his part, commented that “I remember it perfectly. My first summer love was a German named Kristoff, we met in England. It was very worth it.”

Then, the presenter changed his question a little: “Do you remember your first crush with someone you knew?” The guest confessed that it was “Cameron Díaz in La Máscara, she seemed like a spectacular aunt to me. She was about 15 or 16 years old.”

“I went to the cinema to see Twilight, obligatory, and when I saw Taylor Lautner take off his shirt, I was shocked,” Sánchez added about one of the protagonists of the vampire saga.
