Mario Vaquerizo He was admitted to the hospital on October 19 after a serious fall he suffered during his performance at the Horteralia Festival in Cáceres. A few days later he returned to his home in Madrid, although the Nancys Rubias singer had to be admitted again to undergo some tests due to the severity of the consequences: the breakage of two vertebrae and the partial loss of vision. Now more than ever, his wife, Alaska, is his greatest support. The singer has taken advantage of the Halloween holiday to visit her husband and surprise him with a fun look perfect for this party.
Both Alaska and Mario have shared an image of both of them enjoying this holiday together, where you can see Alaska’s fantastic model. Accompanying the image, they have published some messages that show how the couple is even closer in complicated moments like this. “Yesterday I decided to put on an ad hoc model to brighten Halloween night at the hospital. Distributing and receiving gifts with room neighbors and the little ones. Anything to bring a smile to your face during not-so-good times,” the Fangoria vocalist shared.
For this original visit, Alaska opted for a long, realistic dress that imitates human muscles. To complete the look, some bright red heels, in addition to her characteristic makeup: a “smokey eye” and a dark red lipstick. Next to him, and also on the hospital stretcher, Mario poses in medical pajamas, dark sunglasses and still wearing the neck brace.
For his part, the singer of the Nancys Rubias has thanked the company of which he has been his partner for more than two decades. “Treat or trick? Yesterday celebrating Halloween from the hospital with the most beautiful girl in the world. Thank you for always being by my side and with such good class and great model.” And with a touch of humor, he briefly updated his state of health: “Agencia Vaquerizo reports: improving little by little.”
On October 29, the artist made a connection in the program The Anthill to tell your situation. “I’m fine, thank God I’m talking to you, because the fall could have been fatal,” he highlighted the seriousness of the accident. “I could have died or become a quadriplegic. My neck is a little bit bruised.” He also explained that his vision is still not clear: “The contusion was so strong that it affected both eyes and my vision is blurry.” .
Despite the circumstances, Mario is very grateful, and highlights the work of the workers at the Ramón y Cajal Hospital, where he is being treated for all his injuries by the ophthalmology and neurology team. “We are still here, very well cared for by the doctors, nurses, assistants, guards… in short, what total and professional people!”
“Well cared for and also protected by my virgins and saints, who always help and accompany me. Once again, thank you all for your messages. The little eyes and the neck, well… little by little,” he also published on October 29, with an image on the hospital stretcher and, as indicated, accompanied by his virgins and saints on the table.
