Aitana and Miguel Bernardeu met on Sunday, November 11, in Catarroja, one of the Valencian municipalities most affected by DANA. In these images we see the ex-couple collaborating with World Central Kitchen, the NGO of chef José Andrés. The singer, 25, and the actor, 27, dedicated themselves to the victims of the tragedy, but at no time did they flaunt it on social networks. Both have tried to go as unnoticed as possible, like two more volunteers, doing various tasks, from distributing food and drinks to neighbors to cleaning houses and businesses full of mud.
The artist arrived in Catarroja with a group of friends, as revealed by entrepreneur Julio Braceli, whose company has been completely devastated by the force of the water. “THANK YOU, girls, not only for your help but especially for the attitude because seeing smiles and faces of hope and optimism helps a lot after so many days of the damn mud,” the affected person shared along with several photos. In addition, he revealed that the singer, before setting foot in the town, sent a trailer with 17 pallets with essential products.
The actor, for his part, went to Catarroja with his mother, actress Ana Duato, for whom the Prosecutor’s Office is asking for 16 years in prison for the Nummaria Case. Bernardeu, accompanied by several members of World Central Kitchen, entered the municipality following the instructions of the Civil Guard, as seen in this photo.
The interpreter has not been able to travel to Valencia before, since he was in full promotion of the series Wantfrom Movistar +. “I’m very upset. My whole family is there, they’re all fine, luckily. Nothing has happened to any of them, but well, they’re all helping,” he said last week in The Windowfrom Cadena Ser. “It is a moment of great misfortune,” although he is grateful to see “people coming together.” “The young people and everyone, the entire Valencian Community and the rest of the communities have also joined together. There is a lot of discomfort and sadness,” he added before heading to his homeland.
